This is the end result of a 240 mile drive. The roads were ice and snow covered so my foot was very, very gentle.

I drove my sister’s Prius C this weekend. I was having a great time trying to keep it in “battery only” eco mode. You have to be incredibly gentle with the pedal. Like if a fly lands on your shoe the whole things ruined. But your hearts soars as you watch each mph tick by on the speedometer, slowly building to that sweet sweet 35 when you can finally lift and see you earned...4 OUT OF 5 LEAVES? WTF HOW CAN I possibly GO ANY SLOWER. Stupid prius...

Usually I get 15-17 in the truck but with the slick roads I had to be very careful not to step out the rear end.

Yes that’s empty. The truck is a 4 dr 4 wheel drive too. This is the best I’ve ever seen.

Wow. My ‘05 8.1 Yukon XL could get 14-15 easy, I got 17 once when driving in a similar situation (long distance during snowstorm, very gentle on the pedals). I would usually get 12 sitting in traffic. I thought the D-maxes were much better than that!

That’s how I get the best fuel economy in my truck. If I pretend there’s a box in the back that I can’t let slide around and tip toe all over the place I can manage 22mpg. Otherwise.... 15 WOOOO!
